In View of Eternity…
Are you looking for a “NEW LIFE?” God offers you the gift of eternal life through His son, Jesus Christ. You can know for sure that if you died today you would spend eternity with God in heaven! It’s true! God’s Word reveals The Way.
Recognize your condition. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) No one is good enough to enter into heaven. In spite of all your best efforts, you still fall short of God’s standard.
Realize the penalty of sin. “For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23) Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for sin. The penalty for your sin is eternal death in a place called hell.
Believe Christ died for you. “But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) Christ proved His great love for you when He died on the cross to destroy the condemning power of sin.
Trust in Christ alone as your Savior. “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) Everlasting life is a gift from God. It is offered freely to all who call upon Him in faith.
To accept Jesus as your Savior, turn from your sins and invite Him into your life. Pray…Lord, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me. I believe that You sentYour Son to die for me, and I ask You, Jesus, to forgive me of all my sins and save me from hell. I trust You, and You alone, to take me to heaven when I die. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
