What a great week of ministry! Cheryl and I have been in an Adult VBS class all week. Our goal was to invest time in our families. What a joy! We wanted to connect our Moms and Dads with their children. Each night we have taught Moms and Dads the same lessons their children were taught! Nightly we have discussed the lessons with our families in mind. Our hope is that our parents would engage their children in conversation relating to their VBS lessons. Needless to say, we have had fun talking through the responses of our children to the questions they have been asked. What an enjoyable week with our parents!!! We have averaged over 20 adults each evening. Here’s a big hearty “THANK YOU!” to everyone that attended our ADULT VBS class! MOMS AND DADS, Thank you for your faithfulness! God bless you as you raise your children to love and serve Jesus!
Just over a week ago, Cheryl and I flew to Alaska. Our grandniece asked us to come to her church and baptize her. Ruthie was insistent that we come there for the service. After talking with her parents we purchased our tickets and set out for Alaska. What a trip; it was quick but very fruitful! Not only were we able to spend time with our family, we were able to be involved in ministry as well! Pastor John at Soldotna Bible Chapel was gracious in allowing me to preach to his wonderful congregation. I shared a message on The Great Commission from Matthew 28:16-20. The Lord is good… Cheryl and I are so thankful for every opportunity we have to share the Gospel. What a joy baptizing Ruthie and sharing God’s Word!
In closing this email, I want to pray for our church and our families. Satan does not want you, your family or Grace Church to be used by the Lord! I know the Lord wants to use us all. The Lord wants your family to magnify Jesus in all of His glory! The Lord wants you and me to share the Gospel. He wants to use our lives, our families and our friends to spread His glorious Gospel. Pray with me, “Lord, thank You for Jesus! Thank You for Your Gospel! Thank You for saving me from destruction. Thank you Lord, for redeeming me from all of my sins. Lord, use me and use my family to bring many souls into Your Kingdom. You have brought me into Your Kingdom through Your precious Son Jesus! Now use me to point others to Him, for His glory, for Your glory! In Jesus name, Amen!”
Let the Lord have His way in your heart! He is worthy of every word of praise you can offer! 1 Corinthians 16:24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen!
